It's been a cry (or maybe written) legend that women, from the first existence of Eve, she was created by the God from Adam's left rib. People are saying this for far too long. But neither saw nor read it from any book (or maybe I overlooked something). Pardon my shallow knowledge about Islam itself, shame on me.
